What is the Power 99 9 O'Clock Takeover?

It's your turn to play Music Director – and Takeover Power 99. Every weeknight between from 9-10pm, Power 99 is letting you pick the songs we play on the radio! Just vote for your favorite songs online and we'll play them! Move up songs in the playlist that you want to hear, move down stuff that you can do without. You will be able to grab control about 2 minutes before the 9pm hour at power99.com, keyword: Takeover.

What happens when it's not a Takeover Hour?

You will be able to make requests and still vote on songs you would like to hear more/less.

What if I don't see a song in your list?

No problem. Just submit it to us. We will review, and see about making it a part of the list to choose from.

I am voting on my favorite song, but it's not getting on the radio. Why?

There are a lot of other people also trying to Takeover Power 99. You should get a bunch of your friends to team up and vote for a certain song. Use Twitter (#Takeover99) and Facebook to tell your friends to join in the fun and help you get a certain song on the radio.
