Castros Brothers Speak Out - Ariel Castro, the man accused of kidnapping, raping, assaulting and holding as sex slaves 3 Cleveland woman, is getting no love from his brothers. They have spoken out about their brothers actions and say that they hope he "rots in jail" because the death penalty would be too easy of a solution for him. Onil Castro was quoted as saying, "The monster is a goner…I hope he rots in jail. I don't even want them to take his life like that. I want him to suffer in that jail to the last extent. I don't care if they even feed him. What he has done to my life and my family's." Pedro Casto said that he feels the same way.
Tweetpee Pampers - TweetPee is a new iPhone app being tested by Huggies in Brazil. The app uses an owl-shaped humidity sensor that is attached to the baby's diaper to detect when the diaper has been peed in. When triggered, the sensor alerts mom or dad with a tweet that their baby needs to be changed. The app also helps parents keep track of how fast their going through diapers and allows them to order more online. The product is still in the developing and testing phases.
Suspect ID'd In Mother's Day Shooting - Thanks to a $10K reward and a surveillance video, tips about the Mother's Day shooter in New Orleans poured in after the shooting of 10 men, seven women, a 10 year old boy and a 10 year old girl. Late yesterday police acquired an arrest warrant for 19 year old Akein Scott who they believe is the man shown in the video. Scott has been booked before for drug and weapons charges. Woman Kicked Off Plane For Singing 'I Will Always Love You' - An American Airlines flight from LA to NYC had to make an emergency landing to get a disruptive passenger off of the flight. The Woman was escorted off of the plane in Kansas City, MO after she refused to stop singing Whitney Houston songs including, "I Will Always Love You". The woman was interviewed and released without charges, although she'll have to find another way to get to NYC.
Abortion Doctor Convicted Of First-Degree Murder - Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell has been charged with three counts of first degree murders in relation to the death of three babies that are believed to have been delivered alive and then killed. The 72 year old could face the death penalty. He has also been charged with involuntary manslaughter after one of his 41 year old patients died because of an anesthesia overdose during an abortion back in 2009. He has also been convicted of more than 250 counts of infanticide, conspiracy and running a corrupt organization because of his practice which was terminating pregnancies after the legal 24 week limit. He is believed to have delivered babies alive and then snipping their spinal cords to kill them, basically beheading them. The defense is denying that any of the infants were ever born alive.
First Music Video From Space - A Canadian astronaut who was on his way back to earth is believed to be the first person to record a music video from space! He recorded an acoustic cover of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity'. The astronaut, Chris Hadfield, has already gotten more than 1 million views on the video since it was uploaded Sunday! Hadfield is pretty big in the space world, frequently tweeting pictures of his adventures to his more than 825K followers.
Bus Driver Who Forced Girls To Fight Charged - The Florida bus driver who set up the fight between two teenage girls and then encouraged them to throw bows in the yard of her home has been charged. The 29 year old was driving them home from school when the girls started arguing on the bus. She is accused of saying, "This is going to be handled today and they just need to fight." She then skipped her stops and facilitated the front-yard fight. She has been charged with two counts of child abuse.
