The Clear Channel Radio Internship Program has been designed to provide qualified full-time college and university undergraduate students with in-depth exposure to professional radio production facilities, techniques, and practices.

The Clear Channel Radio Internship Program is for college credit only and is unpaid. It is designed to give you a well-rounded introduction to the ever evolving field of broadcasting and the operations of Clear channel stations which are WDAS FM, Power 99 FM, Q102 FM, My 106.1 FM Mix 106.1, Radio 104.5 FM and Rumba 1480 AM.

You will be asked to select an area of concentration but may be given assignments as needed from a variety of departments, allowing you to experience different aspects of day to day operations.

Deadlines:
Application info

Deadlines for receipt of internship application packages are as follows:

Summer Semester (June - August): Package must arrive no later than May 1.

Fall Semester (August - December): Package must arrive no later than September 1.

Spring Semester (December - May): Package must arrive no later than December 15.

Work Periods: Internship assignments vary between 12 weeks and 6 months. Internships commence in January, June and September.

Work Hours: Although work hours may vary according to assigned department, interns must work a minimum of 18 hours (based on working a minimum 4-5 hour workday during the workweek). More hours are expected during the busy summer season.

All Clear Channel Interns are required to attend all major station events that occur during the semester of their internship. There will be mandatory events listing handed out to interns each semester. Most events are listed; some are added during the course of the internship. All interns are expected to attend each event.

Requirements
In order to be an intern with Clear Channel, you must be receiving credit from your school.

Interns are required to fill out weekly evaluation sheets and there is a mid-term and final evaluation that will be completed by your intern supervisor. You must also provide the following:

1. A completed application
2. Cover letter
3. Resume
4. Three references and their contact information.
5. A form or letter from your school or school official verifying that you will be receiving credit for your Internship for the semester you are applying for.
