Violinist Natalie Holt, who appeared on the show a year earlier, shocked viewers by egging the TV meanie during a performance by a pair of opera singers. She later issued an apology to the contestants, but not Simon, and told Britain's Daily Telegraph, “I basically took a stand against people miming on television and against Simon and his dreadful influence on the music industry."
Holt, who is trying to jump-start the career of her band, Raven, gained nearly 5,000 Twitter followers in the day after her stage invasion.

Ashanti has finally stopped dodging questions about her ex Nelly. In an NYC radio interview, on if her song "Never Should Have" is about Nelly, she said, "It's very obvious that the song came from a sincere place. A lot of people are asking, 'What is that about?' or 'Who is that about?' It came from a very sincere place. A lot of people have been in a situation where they've been betrayed or lied to or taken advantage of."
On if she planned to have children with Nelly, she said, "I mean, me and Nelly, we talked about a lot of things. We talked about a whole lot. He has kids, he has great kids. His niece, his nephews. We talked about a lot... so much."
On if he cheated on her, she said, "I mean, listen...things happen, people get hurt, people have resentment, people carry old things with them. Things just happen in real life. You go through things, I go through things, It's a little bit of both. Some of its generic and some things are about me. Do I go through things? Absolutely. He has to do what he has to do right now, and I have to do what I have to do right now, because sometimes you can distract each other."
She also revealed that she and Nelly are in a good place, saying, "Yeah, we're cool. I spoke to him yesterday. We're good, we're cool. We were great, and are great friends."

GUCCI MANE: Waka Flocka Will Still Be on Brick Squad Album
Even though Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane had a falling out and Waka is no longer on the label, Waka will still appear on the recently announced Brick Squad compilation.
Even though Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane had a falling out and Waka is no longer on the label, Waka will still appear on the recently announced Brick Squad compilation.
During an interview with Fader, Gucci says that a lot of the songs were already recorded prior to the beef. He explains, "He’ll definitely be on the album, just because we’ve recorded so much material to date that we were planning to put on the Brick Squad album anyway. So no matter if we work things out or not, he definitely will be on the Brick Squad album."
Gucci also says Waka is contractually obligated to release three more albums on Brick Squad.

All business, nothing personal. Bills have to get paid.
If anything, this will help sales.
This very well could be one of those fake beefs for publicity, anyway.
