JAY-Z: How a Sports Agent Throws a Party

Here's one perk to signing with, or at least flirting with, Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports -- you get invited to his parties.

Jay is throwing a big bash on Monday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his original 40-40 Club in New York, and the guest list is littered with sports stars. The A-listers include his clients Robinson Cano and Victor Cruz, as well as embattled slugger Alex Rodriguez and Cruz's New York Giants teammate Ahmad Bradshaw.

Hova is apparently dropping $250,000 on the bash.

MY 2 CENTS:

  • Jay, take half that money and donate it to city schools. You'll still have a crazy party.
  • If I were trying to convince people that it's cool for me to be a sports agent, I wouldn't be hanging around A-Rod right now.
  • It's hard to believe 40-40 has been around for a decade.

INSTAGRAM: How to Spot An Insta-Flirt

Instagram has given our social media users another way to share their world. But there's one thing on the 'gram that can be a little embarrassing -- the blatant flirting from one of your followers that you're not really sure how to respond to.

You know -- the one that's always liking your photos or asking you location location under every post? Here are some ways to spot a insta-flirt:

  • Users who like pics from 315 weeks ago. It's OK to like a couple of pics but if you notice that your insta-crush likes almost every photo you’ve ever taken -- that's a bit creepy. Be flattered and keep it moving.
  • The follow/unfollow game.  A guy likes your photos but doesn’t follow you then finally decides to hit the follow button days later. A couple of weeks after that, when you don’t return the favor, they unfollow. How old are we? They're obviously doing it for your attention, but in the worst way!
  • Becoming an Instagram shoutout. You happen to like one of your crushes photos and a few minutes later, you become the subject of a Instagram shoutout. This is embarrassing. We're sure the world didn't need to know. That should be the last time you like one of their pics.

MY 2 CENTS:

  • People post a little too much on Instagram so don't get mad when you get a few inappropriate comments.
  • Instagram is public forum. If someone says something you don't like then just block them.
BEYONCE: Endangering Blue Ivy in Hot Tub?

BEYONCE: Endangering Blue Ivy in Hot Tub?

Beyonce comitted a mommy sin and posted it for the wold to see.

Beyonce was photographed with her one-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, in a hot tub and then posted the picture on tumblr. The picture posted of a sleeping Blue Ivy clinging to her mother's bosom may have gotten a lot of oohs and awws from Bey fans but she should know you don't take a baby into a hot tub.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control warns, “Exclude children less than 5 years of age from using hot tubs.” The warning adds, "[babies] cannot regulate [their] body temperature well and can overheat in a hot tub quickly. Overheating can make [them] extremely uncomfortable and causes [their] heart to race. In some cases, overheating can cause death” much like leaving a child unattended in a car on a hot day.

MY 2 CENTS:

  • Pretty soon the blogs are going to start calling her "baby boiling Beyonce."
  • Parents aren't perfect. Maybe Beyonce wasn't thinking. But Blue is fine, so what's the big deal.
  • Maybe they lowered the temperature -- you never know.
