Today is the famous 4/20 Holiday. The day people across the world spark up a joint at 4:20pm. This is I guess Pro Marijuana users way of screaming for legalization of the plant. Here are some facts on how much money is being spent and how much we could save...I say we because it's tax payers dollars we are talking about here. Read......inhale...exhale. (just kidding! sheesh) Happy 420!

1. Tax payers could save over 40 billion dollars a year. That is what's is spent annually fighting the illegal Marijuana trade.
2. Legalizing Mary Jane would save the state 1.9 billion dollars every year.
3. 18 states have already legalized medical Marijuana.
4. Save U.S. prisons 1 billion dollars annually.
5. Marijuana is now California's biggest cash crop bringing in a whopping 14 billion dollars a year.
6. More then 60% of states support taxing Mary Jane.
OK...there are some facts. One thing AOL news did mention is after a 25 year study researchers found that people that used Marijuana on the regular are more likely to lose motivation at work.
