BET Awards Noms- The 2013 BET Awards nominations have been announced and Drake has scored the most nominations. He got 12 nominations, mostly from the collaborations that he's done in the past year. Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz has picked up eight nods, while A$AP Rocky earned five. Justin Timberlake and Miguel got 4. Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Usher,  Kanye West and my girl Elle Varner each earned three nominations. Chris Brown and R. Kelly will perform at the show and that will air on June 30th at Nokia Theater L.A. Live.

Suspects In Atlantic City Drug Gang Takedown - A drug gang bust in Atlantic City has resulted in 28 people getting arrested. The arrests were announced during a press conference yesterday afternoon. All of the suspects are members of the '800 Blok' gang which is known for dealing heroin and cocaine in the city. 'Operation Blok Buster' is the 8 month investigation that has been tracking the gang and which ultimately led to the arrests. The charges range from drug distribution to first degree murder band the suspects range in age from 18 to 53. 

Looks like the oldest son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith wants to be on his now. Jaden Smith is requesting to be emancipated for his 15th birthday. According to The Sun, Will told them Jaden came to him asking to be emancipated so that he could be on his own and have his own place. Will and Jada have been open about letting their kids make their own life choices and now admits it may have backfired. I wonder what if they’ll actually go through with this!

Kobe Bryant’s parents are calling him a liar in regards to his mother recently wanting to auction off his old memorabilia. According to TMZ, Kobe’s parents Pam and Joe Bryant have both filed sworn declarations in the legal battle with Kobe stating that Kobe gave his mother his old stuff to sell. Joe Bryant states that Kobe had given his mom Pam the stuff over the years and is insisting she never took anything that Kobe wasn’t aware of. And to make matters worse they even got Kobe’s grandmother siding with them and filing declarations against Kobe. But they didn’t get Kobe’s sister Sharia Washington she’s filed a declaration stating that Pam has been trying to sell Kobe’s stuff for years to make a profit of off Kobe’s fame. This is just getting out of hand now!

Philadelphia Eagles player LeSean McCoy is being sued for assault. According to TMZ, LeSean allegedly assaulted a woman on a party bus, sprayed her with a beverage and kicked her off the bus leaving her on the New Jersey Turnpike. The woman who’s going by “Mary Roe” was on the bus among 15 other women that going to New York. And during the trip LeSean along with his bodyguard and crew started spraying the women with water although Mary asked them to stop. The lawsuit that was filed on May 10th reports that either LeSean or a member of LeSean’s crew began to hit Mary in her face causing her to fall to the ground. And while Mary was on the ground she says the men pinned her and poured another beverage onto her hair, clothes and body. Once Mary had been kicked off the bus the other women complained so they picked her back up only to ditch her again at a rest stop. Mary is reportedly suing for over $50,000 in damages for assault and battery, intentional infliction, of emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence. Mary also says she suffered head trauma, a disc protrusion to her spine, bad sprains and bruises all over her body and severe shock. No statements have been made by LeSean or the Eagles.

Looks like reality star Kim Kardashian has been encouraging beau Kanye West to lash out at the paparazzi. According to TMZ, Kim thinks Kanye has the right to get out of pocket on the paparazzi especially when they put her and unborn Kimye in danger. While trying to avoid the paparazzi from taking his picture Kanye walked right into a metal sign head first while out with Kim recently causing him to pop off on the paparazzi. Kim feels that the paparazzi have become out of control ever since she announced her pregnancy and almost caused her to get into a car accident recently while dogging them. The paps better watch out Kanye not even going to play with them!

Singer and The Voice judge Usher is being sued by his former nanny. Although Usher’s ex Tameka Raymond stated last year that Usher was holding out on paying his nanny during their nasty custody battle and Usher denied the allegations seems like now they could be true. According to TMZ, Usher’s former nanny Cecilia Duncan is suing Usher for not being paid overtime. Cecilia who was hired back in 2010 complained to Usher about being shorted her money but Usher never resolved the issue. Although Cecilia was fired back in September that is not stopping her from suing for six figures in back pay and damages.

Word Of The Day- Tomfoolery

Beyonce has cancelled her recent Belgium show for her Mrs. Carter World Tour. Although Bey’s camp has denied any and all pregnancy rumors that have recently circulated it still hasn’t stopped many from speculating. The official reason why Bey has cancelled was ruled as dehydration and could be the reason she cancels her show scheduled for Wednesday night also in Belgium. I don’t know something smells like a pregnancy to me! *side eye* In other news, A large photography group that services multiple news organizations has gently informed Beyonce’s camp that they will blacklist Beyonce if she doesn’t lift the ban on photographs taken during her Mrs Carter world tour.

Singer and American Idol judge Mariah Carey might be preparing for a world tour. Although Mariah might not be an Idol judge for much longer her music career is picking up again and there are talks of Mimi having an upcoming tour. Mariah recently released song Beautiful featuring Miguel which has shot to number one in 29 countries and is the number one most added song on the radio. Go Mariah Dahhling!
