Feds Is Watching - The National Security Agency is able to spy on a shocking 75% of US Internet traffic through telecommunications carriers, which is more than they have previously said. The agency is able to read the content of emails as well as metadata including "to" and "from" lines. They filter the emails and store the information. It was also uncovered that they were collecting thousands of emails not related to possible terrorist interaction, which is a big deal because they kept saying they were only keeping emails that were possible terrorist threats.
Jay Z & Ron Howard's "Made In America" Documentary To Debut - You know Jay Z’s Made in America festival is right around the corner and going down on the Parkway Aug. 31st and Sept. 1st. Beyonce is set to perform along with TDE’s Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab Soul and Jay Rock), 2 Chainz, Miguel, ASAP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and many more. Now the documentary from last year’s Made In America is finished and was directed by Ron Howard. It will premier on Saturday, September 7th at 10:15 PM EST, at Toronto's Film Festival. I’m sure we’ll see it on the internet shortly after. “As seen through Howard’s affectionate gaze, Made in America is a love letter not only to Jay Z and his unique project, but also to the city of Philadelphia. Fascinating interludes include one-on-ones with audience members about what the show means to the Philly community — the responses are both positive and negative. Howard explores the birthplace of American Independence and how it relates to this unprecedented event. He even takes some time to follow a local hip-hop group through its attempt to get added to the prestigious bill. Don’t miss this invigorating documentary — and a conversation with one great artist about witnessing the fulfillment of another’s dream.”
Media Outlets Argue Over Race Of 3 Teens That Killed Australian Baseball Player - So I was telling you guys yesterday about the story of the 3 teenagers that killed an Australian basketball player out in Oklahoma because they were “bored.” What I didn’t say was what their race was because I was not sure. When I first saw this story I saw a picture of 3 black boys and the victim being a white boy, but when I did more research I saw a picture of 2 darker boys and a white boy as the three killers. So I was confused. Come to find out Fox and Friends jumped the gun and reported this story as 3 black boys kill a white boy and started to go in on black leadership like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and President Obama for making this a big deal like they did the Trayvon Case and saying there is a double standard. Well they miss reported the info and posted up the wrong picture. One of the killers was white and this sparked a whole bunch of issues on how people automatically assumed these boys were black.
Aaron Hernandez indicted - A Massachusetts grand jury has indicted ex-NFL player Aaron Hernandez on a first-degree murder charge in the June shooting death of his friend Odin Lloyd. He plead not guilty, so now they are going to trial. The indictment said Hernandez "did assault and beat Odin Lloyd with intent to murder him."

Teachers Tapes Second Grader To Chair - An eight-year-old girl claims she was taped to a chair by her teacher as punishment for sharpening her pencils too often. The girl, who attends Hollinger Elementary School in Tuscon, Arizona, has ADHD. The mother of the girl claims the teacher taped her to a chair, with one strip going around her stomach and another higher up, preventing her from putting her arms down.
J. Cole Makes Controversial Comments On Race - While promoting a video game that's using one of his songs, J. Cole made some statements about race. “Those mental chains are still in us. That brainwashing that tells us that light skin is better, it’s subconsciously in us, whether we know it or not… still pursuing light skin women. There are some women out there that are like, “I don’t even like light skin men” and that’s fine. But Barack Obama would not be President if he were dark skin. You know what I mean? That’s just the truth. I might not be as successful as I am now if I was dark skin. I’m not saying that for sure, I’m still as talented as I am and Obama is still as smart as he is, but it’s just a sad truth.”
