Another Paula Deen Employee Accuses Her Of Racism Amid Food Network Return Rumors
According to some new reports, Food Network may be considering pulling Paula Deen back on board in a year or two if she can stay our of trouble. These rumors may be short lived considering an account given by Dora Charles- a cook at one of Deen’s restaurants- Lady & Sons. Charles said that she worked with Deen for many years and that Deen promised to look out for her when her career took off. Unfortunately, even after Deen found fame Charles was still working for $10 an hour and living in a rotting trailer. She eventually got a raise but that was after she filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Charles also says that Deen used racial slurs towards her and asked her to do demeaning things like ring a dinner bell in front of customers.
Jay Z Addressess Harry Belafonte & Trayvon Martin Verdict
Shout to my homie Elliot Wilson. He did an interview with Jay Z for the life and times you tube page and addressed a couple things. First Jay talked about Harry Belafonte putting him on blast for not giving back to the community. Jay said, "I felt Belafonte he just went about it wrong. Like the way he did it in the media, and then he big’d up Bruce Springsteen or somebody. And it was like, whoa, you just sent the wrong message all the way around…Bruce Springsteen is a great guy. You’re this Civil Rights activist and you just big’d up the white guy against me in the white media. And I’m not saying that in a racial way. I’m just saying what it is. The fact of what it was. And that was just the wrong way to go about it.
Jay also touched on his thoughts on the Trayvon Martin verdict. He said,
"I didn’t sleep for two days after the verdict. "I was really angry about it. We all still knew it was still a bit of racism in America but to be so blatant? If you ask yourself the question, Didn't Trayvon have a right to stand his ground? He was being chased. He fought back. He may have won. That doesn't mean he was a criminal. This guy is not a professional," Jay said. "Professionals are taught not to profile. … This guy is a novice. This guy is a fin mall cop."

Butt Chugging Leads To Reforms
Fraternity craziness at the University of Tennessee has led to some major reforms on their campus. According to reports, members of Pi Kappa Alpha and Phi Gamma Delta were forcing its members to get intoxicated through a practice referred to as butt-chugging using rubber tube to insert alcohol in the rectum. One underage student was even hospitalized after getting alcohol poisoning and had a BAC of .40. Both chapters have been indefinitely suspended. As a result of these reports, all fraternities on the campus will have to have a live in director in their fraternity houses by fall of 2014, they’ll have to hire extra security for the weekends and require all members of their chapters to maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA.

Juror Says Zimmerman Got Away With Murder - Says Owe Parents Apology
Jurur B29 has spoken out about the George Zimmerman verdict saying that she believes the “neighborhood watch volunteer” got away with murder for shooting and killing Trayvon Martin. She sat down with Robin Roberts of ABC News and said that unfortunately there was not enough evidence to convict him under Florida law. She said that she was in favor of convicting Zimmer of second degree murder when the deliberations began but after looking at the evidence she decided there wasn’t enough. Trayvon’s mother has issued a statement in response to juror B29’s confession saying, “It is devastating for my family to hear the comments from juror B29, comments which we already knew in our hearts to be true. That George Zimmerman literally got away with murder. This new information challenges our nation once again to do everything we can to make sure that this never happens to another child. That's why Tracy and I have launched The Trayvon Martin Foundation to try and take something very painful and negative and turn it into something positive as a legacy to our son.”
