Meteors Explode In Russia & Cali - Just hours after a meteor the size of a bus exploded over Russia injuring more than 1,000 people in the Bay area of Cali reported seeing a flash of light and fireball in the sky. Experts say that the citing in California was not a major event and that fireballs cross the sky every night in different parts of the world. The explosion in Russia however is much more rare. Scientists say that small meteorites hit earth about 5-10 times a year but that the one in Russia was a different caliber, 40 people are still hospitalized dealing with injuries.Watch the Russia Meteor flying through the fly below
White Man Slaps Black Baby - A white man on a Delta Airlines flight slapped a black baby who wouldn’t stop crying! What makes this story worse is that the man allegedly said, “Shut that [n-word] baby up!” The mother reported the incident to the authorities and showed them the cut that the slap left under the baby’s eye. The 60-year-old man was later found intoxicated and was arrested on assault charges.
Mom Strips At School Assembly - 24 year old mother Aydrea Meaders got on stage during an upstate NY school assembly and started stripping in front of the students! She’s being charged with endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness. She’s being held on $3000 bail.
Alleged Kidnapper Denies Involvement In Girl's Abduction - On Thursday Christina Regusters, 19, and three other people were picked up from a house and taken in for interrogation in relation to the kidnapping of the 5 year old little girl from her kindergarten classroom. While the other three individuals were released Regusters was charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, kidnapping, rape and other offenses. During her questioning Regusters told authorities that she was home sick the day that the girl was abducted she then changed her story and said she was home because she had been suspended from her job at the day care program the little girl attended. Her inconsistencies have made her the prime suspect and she is being held on $4 million bail.
Former Philadelphian Is The Voice Behind The "Harlem Shake" - Artist Jayson Musson who attended the University of the Arts and Penn in Philly is the voice behind the new Harlem Shake phenomenon. He is the person who actually says ‘Harlem Shake’. The song was created by NYC producer Baauer and has shot to #1 on itunes after the 30 second videos of people dancing awkwardly have gone viral- with more than 4000 uploaded every day. Musson’s voice is sampled from Miller Time- a 2001 song Musson made about a fight he got into where he did the Harlem Shake at his opponent. Baauer didn’t ask for permission to use Musson’s voice but Musson is okay with the whole thing!

5th Graders Bring Gun To School To Kill Classmate - A 10 year old and 11 year old boy are in custody after they brought a knife and gun to school in an attempt to kill one of their classmates. They are being accused of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. The boys planned to lure their girl classmate away from the school and then stab her to death. The gun was supposed to be used to keep others away from the scene. They wanted to kill the girl because they say she is rude and mean to them. A fourth grader on their school bus saw their weapons and reported them to school authorities. Another student was bribed with $80 to keep their plot a secret. If convicted of their charges they face up to 3 years in a juvenile detention center.
PSU Dance Marathon Raises Record Breaking $12.3 Million - More than 16, 000 people, comprised mostly of Penn State students, got together to witness a history making site. 700 dancers, each of them representing a Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital patient, got together and put on the show to raise money for cancer research and give financial support to patient families. They raised $12.3 million! The Penn State program THON has been running for more than 40 years and raised more than $100 million!
