Couple Raps For Jesus And Drops N Word - A supposed pastor and his wife are an elderly couple who describe themselves as rappers for Jesus. In a you-tube video they sing their song 'Rappin' For Jesus' in the song he man says, "Jesus is my n***a". They say that the song is a part of their youth outreach program and that this song is their way to reach the youth on the streets and teach them the Christian way.
Man Bites Off Part Of Ex-Girlfriend's Toe - A 27 year old shoe salesman has been accused of biting off the tip of his ex-girlfriend's toe. The man broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and asked her if he could smell her feet. When she said no he allegedly pushed her against the wall and started biting her left big toe. He bit down so hard that he penetrated the nail bed and got all the way down to the bone. The woman says that she originally broke up with him because he had bitten her other toe before.
Teacher Suspended After Pouring Pencil Shavings In Boy’s Mouth - In Texas, an 8th grade teacher is in deep trouble. While the student was "sitting in class with my head tilted back and opening my mouth" (aka he was sleeping), the teacher walked over and poured Pencil Shavings In Boy’s Mouth. The boy that teacher that did it is not his and it was someone helping his teacher. The teacher has been suspended and the boys mom wants her fired.
Victim ID'd In Delaware Courthouse Shooting - The man responsible for a courthouse shooting in Delaware yesterday morning has been identified as 68 year old Thomas F. Matusiewicz. Matusiewicz's son, David, was accused of kidnapping his three young daughters back in 2007 and was at the courthouse for a child support hearing. He had recently been released from prison after a four year sentence for the kidnappings and bank fraud charges. His father's shots killed David's ex-wife, her friend and wounded two police officers inside the New Castle County court. Thomas was shot and killed by police officers outside of the courthouse and David is currently in custody.
Paterno Family On TV Show - Sue Paterno sat down for an interview with Katie Couric to discuss the controversy surrounding her late husband Joe Paterno and the Penn State scandal. She told Couric that she was 'horrified' about the crimes but she is convinced that Joe did not know the full extent of what was going on. Jay Paterno, Joe's son, has appeared on severel ESPN shows to speak out about the allegations. The Paterno family is seeking to correct inaccuracies and misconceptions regarding Joe Pa, who was fired as Penn State's head coach in 2011.
Popo Resigns - Pope Benedict the 16th surprised everyone when he suddenly stepped down from his position of leading the Catholic Church and will be resigning on 2/28. He said he “no longer has the mental and physical strength to run the church through a period of major crisis.” A pope has not stepped down in 700 years and that this might cause some confusion having an ex-pope around. Looks like the guy they are looking to replace him is black.
Plans Being Lay Out For North Broad Casino - The want to make a “big, big complex” with the casino, hotel, restaurants, shops with a pool club. This is only an application, but if it goes through its going to be called the Provence Casino And Resort and it will replace the former Inquirer building.
