Malcolm X's Grandson Malcolm Lateef X was reportedly arrested by the FBI recently. The FBI isn't releasing any statements as to why Shabazz was arrrested, but before the arrest Shabazz was on his way to Tehran, Iran for the third annual Hollywoodism International Conference this past Sunday. The arrest happended just as Lifetime premiered the original movie Betty and Corretta based on Betty Shabazz and Corretta Scott King's friendship following their husbands assassinations this past Saturday. The movie is stirring up controversy as well. Ilyasah Shabazz daughter of the late Malcolm and Betty Shabazz is claiming the movie in which Mary J. Blige portrays Betty doesn't capture her mother's true essence including the wardrobe. Reports are also circulating that the family wasn't involved during the making of the film.
