OWN is being sued by a former employee who says she is the victim of sex and pregnancy discrimination. Carolyn Hommel was hired back in 2010 as the senior director of scheduling and acquisitions who received good performance reviews and was told that she was a shoe-in to become vice president. She says that all changed when she went on medical leave because of her pregnancy. Hommel says that her duties were slowly taken away from her and that she was eventually replaced. She is seeking unspecified damages.
