Willow Smith daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith has been released from her role in the remake of Annie. Willow was cast as the lead role in the remake of the production when she was about nine years old. But since her casting the now 12 year old pop star has grown since then and isn't fit to play the character of little orphan Annie. Shooting for the production is scheduled to shoot this fall and is expected to be released in 2014. There's still no word on who will replace Willow in the upcoming remake of the production.
