Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss plans to sign pre-nupitial agreement before marrying producer fiance Todd Smith. The couple became engaged on New Year's Day. Burruss wrote in her Bravo TV blog, "I do believe in pre-nups. I know that some people feel if you are truly in love and are planning to be dedicated to your marriage that a pre-nup somehow means the person requesting the pre-nup is expecting the marriage to fail. I don't agree. I feel like it's a safety precaution. Just like if you have a fire extinguisher in your home it doesn't mean you expect it to burn down, but you're just prepared to put out the fire before it starts if need be." Burruss also revealed that she and Todd are in the process of planning their wedding and trying to decide on a location between Atlanta or a destination wedding. She said their leaning more towards an intimate wedding but it might not be possible in Atlanta since they have a lot of family and friends.
