Whitney Houston's mom Cissy Houston doesn't blame Bobby Brown for her daughter's drug problems. In an excerpt from her memoir, Remembering Whitney, she wrote, "I blame him for the way he treated her, but I don't blame him for her drug problems." She added, "He was no help to her at all." Cissy also said that she often asks herself "Could I have saved her somehow?" She said about the beginning of Whitney's drug issues, "She started partying and she didn't really know how to stop. I used to wonder what she was doing at night, where she was."
