"The Power Squad", Power 99's Dance Team
A dance team for girls in high school and college (juniors and seniors) that love the art of hip-hop dance and are academically achieving a 2.3 GPA or higher. The dance team will perform at Power 99 events. If this is you or someone you know, come audition for the Power Squad and bring your latest report card.

According to DNA Chicago, Chief Keef was sentenced to 60 days in jail yesterday (January 17th) for violating his probation for allegedly pointing a gun at Chicago cops. The 17-year-old rapper -- whose real name is Keith Cozart, told Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker said, "I beg you please. Give me one more chance to show you. .. I am a very good hearted person. I have not picked up any more cases... That's not my life anymore."
