MOVIE OPENING: 'TEXAS CHAINSAW'
Opening today (January 4th) is the new version of the classic horror film, Texas Chainsaw. Trey Songz is in this one. The film begins after the residents of the small Texas town confirm their suspicions that the Sawyer family was responsible for many disappearances and vigilantes torch the Sawyer compound and kill every member of the family or so they assumed. Years later, Heather travels to the compound that she inherited from an unknown relative completely unaware of the horros that await her in the house's basement.
MOVIE OPENING: 'THE IMPOSSIBLE'
Opening today (January 4th) is the new drama, The Impossible, starring Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland, Geraldine Chaplin and Jan Sundberg. The film , based on a true story, follows a family vacationing in Thailand but get caught in a tidal wave and must face the mayhem of the aftermath.
MOVIE OPENING: 'PROMISED LAND'
Opening today (January 4th) is the new drama from director Gus Van Sant and written by John Krasinski and Matt Damon, Promised Land, starring Matt Damon, John Krasinski, Frances McDormand, Hal Holbrook and Rosemarie DeWitt. The film follows corporate sales partners, Steve, played by Damon, and Sue, played by McDormand, who arrive in a small town to secure drilling rights for a natural gas company however, a schoolteacher, played by Holbrook, and a grassroots campaign leader, played by Krasinski, go up against Steve and Sue and make what looked like an easy job turn into something much more complicated.
