"The Power Squad", Power 99's Dance Team
A dance team for girls in high school and college (juniors and seniors) that love the art of hip-hop dance and are academically achieving a 2.3 GPA or higher. The dance team will perform at Power 99 events. If this is you or someone you know, come audition for the Power Squad and bring your latest report card.

Fat Joe has reportedly pleaded guilty to tax evasion after failing to pay back taxes. According to TMZ.com, the rapper was accused of not paying $700,000 in income taxes for 2007 and 2008. He was freed on a $250,000 bond. He was scheduled to be sentenced in April and could get up to two years in prison.
