The Washington Post wrote a great but sad article on one of the most popular players in Philly history Allen Iverson. I don't care what anyone says... AI was just as influential to the game of basketballl from 1999-2008 as Michael Jordan. I think Iverson has done enough on the court to earn a spot in the NBA Hall of Fame but when you look at the fouls that he has committed of the court...it leaves you asking "what happened???" How does someone who made an estimated $155 million...stand in a court room with his pockets out saying "I don't even have money for a cheeseburger!!!" SMH...check out this great article on the rise and fall of " the Answer" by the Washington Post right here.

The Philadelphia Eagles are starting the season on the road against division rivals RG3 and the Washington Redskins. It looks like the NFL didn't want to take a chance and schedule the Eagles in prime time like they have in past seasons because almost all the games are 1pm and no Sunday or Monday night games. Big Red Andy Reid makes his return to the Link week 3 of the season. Looking at the schedule I think the Birds could go 10-6 next season...I HOPE!
