Eagles officials are saying that quarterback Mike Vick had suffered a"significant" concussion during Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. It's highly unlikely that Vick will be playing this Sunday against the Washington Redskins so Nick Foles will get his first NFL start of his career. Head coach Andy Reid said in his Monday press conference..."I mean, listen, Michael is our quarterback so I don’t want to slight that part, but at the same time I’ve got confidence that Nick will do a nice job given the opportunity...I get excited for every game. But for a kid that has an opportunity to start, I’m excited to see him play.”
