A few months ago rumors were swirling that there was beef between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. over 50's partnership with Manny Pacquaio...well its a little more deeper than that...A WHOLE LOT DEEPER!!! Apparantely an associate of 50 and Floyd, Tommy Summers who is involved in 50's TMT Promotions, sent a letter to Floyd while he was in jail...trying to persuade Floyd to leave his longtime business partner Al Haymon who is very instrumental in building Floyd's brand inside and outside the ring. You can see in the letters that Summers was interested in TMT Promotions taking over Floyd's business interests and having control over his boxing career. I never believed this promotional partnership for 50, Manny and Floyd because Floyd brags about being his own boss and having final say on everything that happens in his career so why would he split his decisions with 2 other people. 50 has no boxing promotion experience and I can tell you firsthand that boxing promotions is a totally different MONSTER than music. Manny is still tied to Top Rank promotions headed by Bob Arum who Floyd absolutely can't stand. Stay tuned as this soap opera continues...
