Eagles quarterback Mike Vick had posted a picture on Twitter of his off day where he's sitting at a table going over his game film and his daughter doing homework but one problem with the picture is that there's a box of dog treats on the table. Once Vick realized the box was in the shot, the picture was removed then re-posted without the box showing the same caption which you can see below. In a statement released through his publicist, Vick admits:
"I understand the strong emotions by some people about our family's decision to care for a pet...as a father, it is important to make sure my children develop a healthy relationship with animals.
I want to ensure that my children establish a loving bond and treat all of God's creatures with kindness and respect. Our pet is well cared for and loved as a member of our family."
Of course there are some people who are outraged at the thought of Vick owning a pet. I'm a dog owner and I believe Vick should be allowed to have a dog for his kids...he has paid for his crimes and its time for everyone to move on! What do you think???
