Eddie F. IS Philadelphia. As a Producer and host of the Streetz Sportz Report (M-F 8p), Eddie F. represents Philly from North Broad to Delaware Avenue, Cobbs Creek to Oak Lane.
He began his career as an intern at WUSL in 2001, was hired to work part-time as a producer and then promoted to full time in 2004. Eddie brings extraordinary production and journalism skills to Power 99. Traveling the country as the sports voice of the station, Eddie snags the hottest interviews from the sports elite, such as Oscar De La Hoya, Mike Tyson, Ric Flair, Philly�s own Bernard Hopkins and Allen Iverson to entertainment�s headline makers Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, and J. Lo. He is the Power 99 HBO correspondent hosting live broadcasts for Pay-Per-Views (Hopkins v. De La Hoya, Trinidad v. Wright). Eddie has also reported live from the Funkmaster Flex Car Show, 2006 NBA All Star Weekend from Houston, and movie premieres across the country. He has also been highlighted in Game Sports Magazine and made guest appearances on CN8�s Lou Tiley Sports Connection and local TV in Arkansas.
Eddie�s talent has not gone unnoticed. He is a four-time nominee for the Achievement in Radio for Best Sports Reporter, a nominee for Best Original Program Feature, and has been recognized as Community Servant of the Year.
Eddie also regularly visits area high schools and universities to speak about education and career advancement.

On May 5th Floyd Mayweather will move up in weight to fight Miguel Cotto for his WBA Super Welterweight title. Pretty Boy is moving up in weight because he wants Cotto to be "comfortable" for the fight. I guess boxing fans will have to wait another year for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

Angelo Dundee, the famous trainer of the Greatest Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard, passed away yesterday at the age of 90. Dundee was in Ali's corner for almost his entire career, coaching him in his first fight against Sonny Liston, the legendary fights against Joe Frazier and beyond.
