Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne are back at it again. The “Motivation” duo have teamed up with writer/producer Sean Garrett and given us “Ice”. The smooth, soulful, sexy track is the first single off of Kelly’s fourth album, which is due out before the end of the year.

Last night’s BET Awards had everyone awaiting one performance: The Whitney Houston tribute and BET didn’t disappoint. Songstress Mariah Carey began the tribute by speaking about her dear friend while fighting back tears. After Carey’s touching verbal tribute, Monica sang “I Love the Lord”, which Houston sang for “The Preacher’s Wife” soundtrack. Brandy then took over and brought the live and at home audience members some upbeat comfort with Houston’s “I’m Your Baby Tonight” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”. The “It All Belongs to Me” singers had amazing performances, which surely made Whitney proud. In addition to Mariah, Monica, and Brandy, the cast of “Waiting to Exhale”, Houston’s brother Gary, and her mother Cissy paid tribute to the fallen icon.

It's a new day for songstress Alicia Keys and she kicked it off by releasing some new music. Yesterday she leaked the first single off of her latest album entitled “New Day”. The song, which is Key’s first release in almost three years, is upbeat, heartfelt, inspirational, and a different sound for the “Songs in A minor” singer. Prior to the release of “New Day” Alicia told fans via a video message that her new music would sound different because she’s “a different and new person and is ready to be freed by the music on her upcoming album”. At this time the album is untitled and without a release date.

Keyshia Cole has just released the artwork for her latest single “Enough of No Love” featuring Lil Wayne. The song is the lead single from Cole’s new album “Woman to Woman”. The album will be Keyshia’s fifth and is set to be released on July 15. Cole shot the video for her newest single this week and the Benny Boom directed video will be released soon.

Its finally here, Lana Del Rey’s video for "National Anthem". The video features “the Born to Die” singer as Marilyn Monroe and the First Lady Jackie O while A$AP Rocky portrays the role of President JFK. The mini movie runs 7 minuets and 41 seconds long and features clips of Rey and Rocky riding in the condemned motorcade on the day of JFK’s assassination, moments of family fun, and the duo just loving up on each other. The sepia and 60’s inspired film was the directed by Anthony Mandler and puts a spin on the famous duo by having Rey and Rocky portray an interracial version of POTUS and FLOTUS.

Taylor Gang’s first lady Lola Monroe has just released some new music. The latest release from Monroe is a remix entitled "Exodus 32:1". The rapper’s remix of the Pusha-T song features Baltimore rapper LOS. Although she has released four mixtapes rumor has it that Lola’s debut album will be release some time this year.
