Not many people had a bigger year in entertainment than Pharrell Williams in 2013. The 40-year-old producer/rapper/singer/songwriter/fashion designer was everywhere this year, from award shows, covering magazines, hits all over the charts, scoring music for movies, and many business ventures outside of music. Pharrell composed the soundtrack to the movie Despicable Me and he has worked with almost nearly everyone in the industry from Miley Cyrus, Frank Ocean, Daft Punk, T.I., Solange Knowles, Mac Miller, Robin Thicke, Kanye West. Pharrell appeared alongside T.I. on Robin Thicke's hit single "Blurred Lines". The song has been a worldwide hit, has peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Pharrell's third Billboard Hot 100 number one single. Plus Pharrell released the first 24-hour music video to his Despicable Me 2 collaboration song, "Happy". With all of these accomplishments in 2013, GQ recognized Pharrell as one of their 5 people selected for the “Man of the Year” cover, which is well deserved.

Our boy A$AP Rocky may need to keep his hands to himself. Remember earlier this month we heard about him slapping a female fan as he was being mobbed by fans, and by the way, it was caught on camera? Well his hands are getting him in more trouble because according to TMZ, he hit another woman this past weekend while he was in town for Made in America. The woman filed a criminal complaint saying A$AP Rocky got violent when a bunch of fans started pulling on his shirt as he was making his way through a crowd. And that's when A$AP turned around and open-hand slapped the woman. She claims she suffered whiplash and the D.A.'s office has decided to charge A$AP with misdemeanor simple assault.
