Not many people had a bigger year in entertainment than Pharrell Williams in 2013. The 40-year-old producer/rapper/singer/songwriter/fashion designer was everywhere this year, from award shows, covering magazines, hits all over the charts, scoring music for movies, and many business ventures outside of music. Pharrell composed the soundtrack to the movie Despicable Me and he has worked with almost nearly everyone in the industry from Miley Cyrus, Frank Ocean, Daft Punk, T.I., Solange Knowles, Mac Miller, Robin Thicke, Kanye West. Pharrell appeared alongside T.I. on Robin Thicke's hit single "Blurred Lines". The song has been a worldwide hit, has peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Pharrell's third Billboard Hot 100 number one single. Plus Pharrell released the first 24-hour music video to his Despicable Me 2 collaboration song, "Happy". With all of these accomplishments in 2013, GQ recognized Pharrell as one of their 5 people selected for the “Man of the Year” cover, which is well deserved.
Even though it seems like Sean Kingston has been a little quiet lately, even though he has new music out, certain things aren't so quiet with him. According to TMZ, a Sean has been hit with a lawsuit, claiming he and his body guard raped a drunk teen back in 2010. The girl, is now 22, says she was forced to have sex with Sean and a few other people from his entourage in Sean's room after she smoked and downed some shots of vodka. She is suing Sean for about $5 million. Sean isn't denying sex with the girl, because he filed legal documents saying the sex was consensual. A trial date has been set for November.
