There is no way you could not know who this Philly native is! His start to fame started with rapping, to your television then to the big screen. Will has had many great roles in various movies from action-packed, to comedy, to drama, even sci-fi. He's been in hit movies like "I Am Legend," "Pursuit of Happiness," the "Men in Black" franchise, and let's not forget the "Bad Boys" movies, which we keep hearing rumors of a "Bad Boys 3" in the works. His latest work includes the sci-fi movie "After Earth" which he will star with his son Jaden Smith. Be on the lookout for Will in the upcoming movies "Winter Tales" and a sequel to "Hancock" which will drop in 2014. Will Smith isn't sitting still anytime soon, and why would we want him to?
Why not share news during Black History month? Langston Hughes, part of the Harlem Renaissance, is about to have his classic play, "Black Nativity" get a modern twist. The story is about a street-wise teen from Baltimore, who journeys to New York City to spend his Christmas holiday. The movie will star Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Tyrese and will have music from hip-hop to R&B to gospel.
