His latest work includes the sci-fi movie "After Earth" which he will star with his son Jaden Smith. Dr. Dre's Beats are very well known. If you see the design, you instantly know they are Beats. But now Dr. Dre is suing Yamaha over headphone designs. In the new lawsuit filed in California federal court, Beats by Dre says that it has revolutionized the use of headphones as a fashion accessory, and is alleging that Yamaha is trading off the goodwill of its products. In so many words, Yamaha is copying distinctive aspects of Dre's Beats headphones.
