Shadrach Winstead claimed 50 Cent took pieces of his story and made it his own. The guy claimed 50 took passages and story-lines from his book, The Preacher's Son- but the Streets Turned Me into a Gangster. The guy said 50 Cent used this book to come up with the concept of 50's cd and movie, Before I Self Destruct. But a judge says there is no copyright infringement based on a few general statements that are slightly similar in 50's rap and the guy's book. Even though 50 won the lawsuit, Winstead's lawyer is opposing the verdict.
