Kevin Clash, the man behind the voice of Elmo was accused of underaged sex with a man who is now 23. The accuser said he had a relationship with Kevin when the accuser was 16. However, Kevin denied those allegations, saying he did have a relationship with the man but he was an adult when they began the relationship. Kevin took a leave of absence from Sesame Street to deal with the allegations. Well now the accuser is recanting his story. The law firm representing the accuser said “he wants it to be known that his sexual relationship with Mr. Clash was an adult consensual relationship.” The statement added, “He will have no further comment on the matter.”
