Beyonce Sings To A Blind Girl - Bey is currently on the Australian leg of her Mrs. Carter world tour and while in Perth she sang a duet with one special fan! The 13 year old girl is legally blind and has muscle and hearing troubles but she was absolutely glowing as she sang ‘Irreplaceable’ along with the Queen Bey. The girl’s name is Sophie and her older sister Ellie made a video about her sister months ago explaining her medical disabilities, her love for Beyonce and the logistical setbacks that prevented Sophie from ever going to a concert. Despite her challenges Sophie is an inspiration and has raised more than $1,000 for people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. Sophie’s family was invited to the concert but Sophie had no idea she would be singing with Beyonce. It was cute Beyonce came over to her and asked her to help her sing “Irreplaceable.”

 

Porn Stars Have To Wear Goggles - The newest draft of a California workers safety bill would require adult film stars to wear protective goggles on the job. The bill is currently stalled in the Senate but proposes that the porn stars wear the googles to “prevent contact of an employee's eye; skin, mucous membranes, or genitals with the blood, bodily fluids or anything else.” They say this would help with sexually transmitted pathogens. This is the same bill that is mandates condom use during the filming of pornography. With the recent hike in HIV cases among porn-stars these preventative measures can only be beneficial.

 

Pinterest Is Growing - People are constantly looking for ways to interact and engage via social media networks and up until now Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have seemed to be the go-to methods. Well according to a new report published by online distribution service ShareThis, Pintrist is the fastest growing platform for sharing content. The report looked at millions of “shares” across more than 100 social media networks and two million websites. Facebook and Twitter still make up 75% of content sharing but Pintrest and LinkedIn are quickly growing and making a name for themselves in the social sharing space.

Incognito Investigated Last Year - Richie Incognito who is currently being investigated for racial insensitivity and hazing towards his former Miami Dolphins team mate Jonathan Martin ran into some trouble last year. According to reports Incognito was investigated for allegedly molesting a woman with a golf club at a Dolphins annual event. The 34 year old woman reported to police that Incognito “used his golf club to touch her by rubbing it up against her vagina, then up her stomach then to her chest. He then used the club to knock a pair of sunglasses off the top of her head. After that, he proceeded to lean up against her from behind and saying 'Let it rain! Let it rain!' He finally finished his inappropriate behavior by emptying bottled water in her face.” Incognito is said to have been drunk at the time and was never officially charged in the case.

 

Warren Sapp Claims Richie Incognito Called Him The ‘N-word’ - It’s common knowledge now that Richie Incognito is no stranger to the N-word given the released text and voice messages he sent former team mate Jonathan Martin. Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp is now talking about his personal experiences with Incognito. During an interview Sapp said, “One time he kicks me in a game and calls me the N-word. I looked at him and said, 'Oh you want me to punch you in the mouth so they kick me out of the game? I got a better plan for you...I’m gonna beat your quarterback up so they cut your ass.” Sapp says that he wasn’t offended by the remark. He said, “He [Incognito] only wants to get me kicked out. He don't want to fight. Because the only thing he got to do is call me after the football game, just come over to the locker room and say it after the game. Now we've got a real situation.”

 

Nas Executive Produces Dance Documentary - Nas has been tapped the executive produce a new dance documentary along with director Adam Sjoberg. The project is titled “Shake the Dust” and will travel to Cambodia, Columbia, Yuganda and Yemen to look at different types of ‘street dancing’ and ‘b-boying’. In addition to executive producing Nas will also create some new original music for the film. Nas spoke about the documentary saying “What these kids are doing around the world reminds me why I fell in love with hip-hop and how important it is as a creative and constructive outlet. After hearing Adam’s vision for this project and hearing the stories, I was incredibly excited to help bring the film to global audiences who need to hear this surprising message of empowerment.”

 

Rap Genius And 50 Other Lyric Sites In Trouble - RapGenius.com is the lyrics site where we go to analyze the metaphors and word-play that we don’t’ quite catch with a simple listen through. Well, the National Music Publishers Association is less than thrilled with the site and has issued a ‘take down notice’ for its unpublished lyrics. Rap Genius was among 50 sites ordered with the take down notice, which is the first step before a copyright infringement lawsuit is filed.

 

Revel May Face Sale - As a part of a strategic option for bankrupt Revel Atlantic City- the $2.6 billion casino could be going up for sale. Back in March the company filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy and would use the proceeds from the sale to pay off its $58 million in debt. The casino has been in the hole since it opened reporting a $122 million operating loss in just the first 6 months of opening. 

 

Miley Cyrus Responds To Backlash From MTV EMA - Miley Cyrus has reportedly responded to the backlash she received following her smoking a joint at the MTV EMAs. She said on Twitter yesterday, "Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF." People are assuming this is her response to everything. This award show happened to Europe, but when it aired in the U.S. hours later, the smoking part was edited out. The speech was shortened, only showing Miley thanking people and saying bye to the audience. A wide-shot of the audience at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome was also used to cover up Miley's smoking segment.
