The 56th Annual Grammys will be represented heavy at this years show, with two of the biggest acts of the year being nominated multiple times. Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been nominated for the prestigious honors in music- Album of the Year. According to allhiphop, Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city and Mack & Ryan’s The Heist will compete against Sara Bareilles’ The Blessed Unrest, Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, and Taylor Swift’s Red for AOTY. The Black Hippy member and the duo from Seattle were also nominated for the Best New Artist award.

Only two Hip Hop albums have won the Grammy for Album Of The Year. Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill in 1999 and OutKast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below in 2004. Do you think either Macklemore or Kendrick have a chance for Album of the year?
