Teyana Taylor "Retired" Because She Didn't Feel Appreciated with Label

Teyana Taylor said she would retire from music and people were thinking maybe it's just to spend time with her family. However, it's a little more than that. Her "retirement" isn't really a retirement, but more of a good break from things. During a segment with Cam Newton and "Sip and Smoke," Teyana revealed she didn't feel heard on her music label, G.O.O.D. Music. Remember when she released her K.T.S.E. album, which was produced by Kanye West? Teyana wasn't really happy with her project. Teyana said, "I felt under appreciated. So, for my mental health, my mental well-being, for my kids, let me just put this on ice for a little [bit]. It’s not that I retired permanently. It’s more like, I just don’t feel like I want to move another inch for a company." We get it. Sometimes when something doesn't feel right, you have to step back from it to get things together in your world.
