LaKeith Stanfield Is First Black Samurai in Netflix Anime Series

Since we are still waiting for a new season of Atlanta, it's good to see the main stars of the show get new gigs. One of those actors is LaKeith Stanfield. He will be the voice of "the legendary Black samurai" in a new anime series, Yasuke, on Netflix, according to Hip Hop Wired. Yasuke is the character of an actual Black samurai who lived in Japan during the 16th century. The 6-episode series will have a bit of everything from action, and even racism, since the lead character is a Black man in Japan at that time. Oh, and the series is also based on the actual story of Yasuke, seeing samurai demons and floating human beings lets you know they will add some spice to the series for entertainment sake, according to Hip Hop Wired.
