Uncle Ben's Get Rebranded with New Name

For years, there have been families who have Uncle Ben's products in their cabinets. Well will all of the recent unrest throughout cities across America from social injustices, the company decided to change the name. Uncle Ben's has gone through a rebrand, much like other companies like Aunt Jemima and more. According to their website, Mars Food will drop "Uncle" from the brand’s name. It will just be Ben's Original. As for the logo, they will remove the caricature of the fictitious gray-haired Black servant smiling on the box. We won't see the actual new look until 2021, but hey, they are making an effort. But it looks like the company will go a step forward because they will help communities as well. In their social media post, Mars Food said, "Our first actions will be to fund scholarships with National Urban League that will ensure aspiring Black culinary entrepreneurs get the educational opportunities they deserve so their ideas and voices can be appreciated by all." Let's see how this will work. Do you care about the rebranding?
