With the craziness of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of school graduates may have feel forgotten. They've worked hard to get that degree to move to the next stage of their lives. But they are not forgotten. People like Oprah Winfrey will pay tribute to graduates when she delivers her commencement speech next week. Even LeBron James will honor graduates, virtually, with a few of his celeb friend the day after. But wait for it. The former President, Barack Obama and former First Lady, Michelle Obama, are planning on doing virtual commencement speeches as well. Former President Obama posted on his Instagram, "I’ve always loved joining commencements––the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice. Even if we can’t get together in person this year, Michelle and I are excited to celebrate the nationwide Class of 2020 and recognize this milestone with you and your loved ones." And I love the fact they will honor HBCU graduates as well with a little theme. And it looks like the commencement speeches will be featured on YouTube because under Obama's caption, the streaming site, said, "The#Classof2020deserves to be celebrated for all of their accomplishments! We are honored to be a part of that!" And don't worry, the Obamas are spacing their speeches out.
