LeBron James Gathers Friends to Host Virtual Graduation Event

This year has started out very differently from others and we blame the coronavirus. The pandemic has stopped a lot of routine in our daily lives. Schools are officially closed. What about those who were seniors in high schools and colleges and universities? Those kids worked hard to graduate. Well, they still get a chance to graduate, just without the pomp and circumstance. Those seniors aren't able to walk across the stage in front of people to receive those diplomas. They won't be able to hear the speeches. However, people still care and understand the hard work they put in to graduate. Of course we heard Oprah Winfrey will do a commencement speech for every graduate, but LeBron James will be doing something special as well. LeBron has gotten some good friends to help him host a virtual graduation event. According to Hip Hop Wired, LeBron will host Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020 on May 16. His event will take place after Oprah's, so no clashing there. LeBron's special will even air on CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC. And yes, it will stream on YouTube, Instagram and more. LeBron will be joined by other athletes, musicians, and celebrities like The Jonas Brothers, Yara Shahidi, Lena Waithe, Pharrell Williams, H.E.R. and more.
