Eazy-E's son is throwing his support behind the actor playing his father in the upcoming N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Lil Eazy-E says he reached out to actor Jason Mitchell to lend him support as well as "any advice he needs."  Lil Eazy points out that Mitchell has a "big burden on his shoulders" to accurately portray his father and his rap group, N.W.A.  He's even invited Mitchell to his grandmother's house, where the late rapper was born and raised.

Lil Eazy also denied reports that he was angry at Mitchell's casting because he wanted the role for himself.  He hoped to portray his father and even had a private audition with filmmakers, but he's "not upset" about not getting the part.

Straight Outta Compton is scheduled to arrive on August 14th, 2015.
